Century Ponds are CLOSED to anglers on alternate Sundays until 1pm
Keynsham Angling Association shares the Century Ponds site with Stockwood Vale Gun Club, who use the venue for clay pigeon shooting every other Sunday morning until 1pm. Members are not permitted to fish the ponds when a shoot is in progress. Anglers are requested to arrive at the venue NO EARLIER than 1pm. Signs will be posted on the approach road to the ponds when a shoot is in progress. Any member ignoring this notice faces the prospect of being banned from the ponds for the good of their own safety.

Please note that it is the responsibility of the angler, not the shop,
to be aware of these dates when purchasing a day ticket. No day ticket refunds will be given to members who buy tickets for these dates. 
WARNING
LOOK UP! LOOK OUT! A number of the Association's waters are near overhead electric power lines that may carry power up to 132,000 volts. These lines are within reach of carbon fibre rods and poles. Members must maintain a safe fishing distance and must NOT carry assembled rods or poles under these power lines. All River Chew waters with overhead power lines are now marked on the Chew MAP. Please be aware of these locations. Always look up.
